On one side of this puzzle you have to colour sort and match the farm animals to their pens and stables, matching them all together along the maze. When you've put the animals where they belong, you can do simple counting and adding exercises to see which pen has the most animals, or how many animals are there all together? Once you have enxplored one side of the board, flip itover and sort the alphabet from A-Z. If it gets too tricky, there are animals and objects that start with the missing letters to help you along the way. You can also adpt the puzzle board to spell out simple words like "cat", "mat" or "sun".
